Chautauqua County, NY Drug Bust: $27K, Cocaine Seized in Jamestown Raid

Jamestown, NY – A months-long narcotics investigation in Chautauqua County led to a major drug bust in Jamestown on Saturday morning, authorities announced.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, investigators executed a search warrant at 610 Monroe Street in Jamestown at 8:35 a.m. following a seven-month probe into suspected drug activity. The search was conducted with assistance from the Jamestown Police Department and Dunkirk Police Department.

At the residence, authorities say they seized 643 grams of cocaine, 40.4 grams of crack cocaine, packaging materials used for distribution, and $27,371 in cash. Deputies identified the resident as David E. Brown III. Brown was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree.

Brown will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court, officials confirmed.
