According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, investigators served the warrant at approximately 12:30 p.m. Monday at a home located at 44 Clidden Avenue. The operation was conducted by narcotics investigators from the Sheriff’s Office along with the City of Jamestown Police Department.

During the search, investigators seized approximately 295.5 grams of cocaine, along with scales, packaging materials, and $4,555 in U.S. currency, authorities said. The items are believed to have been used in the sale and distribution of narcotics within the community.

Officials identified the resident as Matthew Bindics, who was taken into custody following the search. Bindics has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, according to authorities.

Bindics is expected to be arraigned through the Centralized Arraignment Program at the Chautauqua County Jail. No additional suspects were announced as of Tuesday, and the investigation remains ongoing.
