Storm chances linger through Tuesday evening with another round possible Thursday as moisture builds back into the region.
Temperatures stay hot early in the week, with highs in the mid-90s Monday and mid-80s Tuesday. Cooler air arrives by Wednesday with highs dropping into the upper 80s and slightly drier conditions. Residents are urged to limit outdoor activity during peak afternoon heat Monday, and keep phones charged in case of power outages tied to storms.
