
Charlotte, NC- The Charlotte Eucharist Congress will be held Sept. 5-6, 2025 at the Charlotte Convention Center. The annual event, held since 2005, is expecting about 20,000 Catholics from across the region.
Doors open at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5. An official welcome is set for 6:45 p.m., followed by a performance on the main stage by Matt Maher, a nine time Grammy award nominee.
Eucharistic adoration will follow the performance. It is a form of Catholic prayer that involves deep meditation and prayer in the presence of the Eucharist. The evening will conclude with a screening of “Carlo Acutis: Roadmap to Reality.”
Saturday will begin with the Eucharistic procession at 9 a.m, with Bishop Michael Martin carrying the Eucharist through the streets of Charlotte.
The day will include a Holy Hour, meals and music, and visits with dozens of vendors and exhibitors before the congress ends with Mass.
Between events, attendees may visit vendor booths and meet with organizations throughout the convention center. Vendors include Ave Maria Catholic Store, Gifts of faith, and TAN books. Organizations such as MiraVia and Youth Apostles will be on hand to share information and answer questions.
The congress is open to all– Catholics and non-Catholics. Programs will be offered in Spanish and Vietnamese, with family sessions and separate programming for middle and high school students.
