Higher terrain north and east of the city may see 3 to 6 inches, creating sharper travel impacts.
Temperatures fall steadily through the day, slipping into the 20s. As colder air deepens, wind chills drop into the single digits, especially by evening. Gusty winds add urgency to the situation, with gusts reaching 20 to 25 mph in the lowlands and stronger winds across nearby ridges. Blowing snow will reduce visibility at times, especially on exposed roadways.
