Charleston, WV – A passing weather system will bring clouds and light rain to parts of West Virginia Sunday before drier, mild conditions return to start the new week, according to the National Weather Service in Charleston.
Forecasters say highs will reach the mid-40s to low 60s Sunday, with light showers possible throughout the afternoon as a weak disturbance moves east. Overnight lows will dip into the 30s under mostly cloudy skies.
High pressure builds in by Monday, keeping conditions dry and partly cloudy through midweek. High temperatures will hold steady in the upper 50s to low 60s, while nights remain cool with lows in the 30s and 40s.
A cold front may approach around midweek, but meteorologists say widespread rain is unlikely until late week. The first half of the workweek should stay pleasant, offering a stretch of typical early-November weather across the region.
