CHARLESTON, S.C. – After a hot and sunny start to the week, Charleston residents should prepare for unsettled weather beginning Tuesday afternoon as storms move across the Lowcountry.

Wednesday carries another round of rain, with showers possible after 11 a.m. and a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms into the night. Temperatures will stay seasonably hot, topping out near 89 degrees midweek. By Thursday, storm chances ease slightly, but showers return in force Friday with a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms expected during the day.
