Waldorf, MD – Authorities in Charles County are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect accused of peering into an apartment window in Waldorf earlier this week.

According to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred around 7 a.m. on Tuesday in the 1100 block of Heritage Place. A witness reported that a man wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants was seen outside an apartment, allegedly looking inside the window of an occupied residence. The individual was further accused of engaging in an indecent act before fleeing the area, possibly in a newer model white Mercedes.

Photos of the suspect were obtained by officers, who have been conducting surveillance and following up on leads. Authorities released the images on social media to encourage community assistance in identifying the man.
