Charles County, MD – Detectives with the Charles County Sheriff’s Office have arrested five suspects in connection with a string of armed robberies targeting victims wearing designer clothing and accessories in the Waldorf area. The suspects range in age from 15 to 21.

According to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, the robberies occurred between September 19 and September 24, 2025, when victims reported being approached by armed suspects who allegedly stole luxury apparel and other valuables.

On October 7, detectives executed six search warrants at residences across Waldorf, leading to the arrests of three juveniles—two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old—who were charged as adults. Investigators recovered evidence linking the group to multiple robberies.

Two additional suspects were later taken into custody. On October 9, 21-year-old Kyjuan Marquie Guffey of Waldorf was arrested in La Plata. A 15-year-old suspect was separately detained in Oxon Hill after a traffic stop by Prince George’s County police, who found him carrying a stolen 9mm handgun.

All five suspects face charges of armed robbery, first-degree assault, use of a firearm in the commission of a crime, and theft. Detectives continue to investigate possible links to other cases.
