Centralia, Wash. – A search warrant in Centralia’s 300 block of Halliday Road led to the arrest of a convicted felon and the seizure of suspected narcotics and a stolen firearm Wednesday.

According to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, deputies with the Sheriff’s Enforcement Team (S.E.T.) and K9 Kimbo served the warrant on Feb. 11 as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.

During the search, deputies reported locating suspected narcotics, drug paraphernalia and a firearm inside the residence. Further investigation determined the firearm had been reported stolen out of state, according to the sheriff’s office.

The primary occupant of the residence was taken into custody without incident. Authorities said the individual is a convicted felon and was booked into the Lewis County Jail on felony charges related to allegedly unlawful possession of a firearm and other controlled substance violations.

Officials have not released the suspect’s name or additional case details as of Tuesday.

The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not indicated whether additional arrests are expected.

The residence is located in a residential area of Centralia, where similar investigations can temporarily disrupt nearby activity for residents and commuters.
