Green Bay, WI – A mix of rain and snow is expected to move through central Wisconsin Thursday, prompting a 30% to 50% chance of light precipitation through the afternoon.
According to the US National Weather Service in Green Bay, the highest chances for rain and snow showers will remain concentrated in the central part of the state. Temperatures are forecast to range from 40°F to 47°F during the day before conditions begin to shift.
Friday and Saturday are expected to bring drier and warmer weather. Friday’s highs will range between 45°F and 55°F under partly cloudy skies, while Saturday could reach up to 62°F in some areas. Another chance of rain returns Sunday, with highs between 50°F and 64°F across the region.
Drivers should remain cautious, particularly during morning and evening commutes, as scattered wet snow may reduce visibility or create slick spots. Residents are advised to monitor local updates and stay weather-aware as conditions change.
Although April snow isn’t unusual for Wisconsin, the weekend warmup will offer a brief return to springlike temperatures before another potential wet pattern moves in early next week.
