Fort Worth, TX – A warm afternoon across North and Central Texas will give way to a crisp, cool evening, according to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth. Friday afternoon highs are forecast to reach the mid to upper 80s, with some spots like Graham nearing 90 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service, a noticeable cooldown is on the way tonight as temperatures fall into the upper 50s to mid 60s by early Saturday morning. Locations including Cisco and Graham could see overnight lows in the upper 50s, while Dallas-Fort Worth is expected to bottom out near 65 degrees.

The shift marks one of the more fall-like evenings of the season so far, with widespread cooler conditions expected across North and Central Texas. Residents in cities such as Waco, Sherman, and Killeen should also prepare for temperatures dipping into the low 60s overnight.

Forecasters say the dry air and clear skies will help drive the cooler night temperatures, offering a refreshing change after a week of late-summer warmth. Afternoon highs are expected to remain in the 80s through the weekend, but mornings will start on a much cooler note.
