Central Pennsylvania Issues Frost Advisory and Freeze Watch for Sunday

Harrisburg, PA – A Frost Advisory has been issued for early Sunday morning across parts of central Pennsylvania, warning of temperatures dropping as low as 33 degrees, which could result in frost. The advisory is active from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. EDT Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service, a Freeze Watch also remains in effect from late Sunday night into Monday morning, with expected lows near 28 degrees in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, and York counties. The upcoming frost and freeze conditions may harm crops, outdoor plants, and exposed plumbing. Residents are encouraged to cover sensitive vegetation and prepare outdoor items for the potential freeze.
