Columbus, Ohio – After days of clouds and humidity, central Ohio is about to settle into a stretch of clear, comfortable weather. Sunshine returns Wednesday with highs near 80, giving residents a welcome midweek break before temperatures climb again heading into the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, skies will clear steadily beginning Wednesday with highs around 79 in Columbus and upper 70s across nearby cities like Dublin and Grove City. Light north winds will hold humidity down, and overnight lows in the mid-60s will keep evenings mild.

Thursday and Friday are expected to stay dry, with Friday bringing full sun and temperatures reaching 86 in Columbus. Saturday follows a similar pattern, with highs in the mid-80s and only a few passing clouds. The forecast suggests the dry stretch will continue into early next week, though temperatures cool slightly by Monday, dipping into the lower 70s.

Residents planning outdoor activities can look forward to excellent conditions, though hydration and sun protection are recommended during peak afternoon hours Friday and Saturday. Travelers will also see minimal disruptions, with clear skies and calm winds dominating much of Ohio.

The clear and mild pattern is expected to last until early next week, when cooler air may bring a refreshing shift.
