Central Kansas Weather: Sunday Showers, Highs in the Mid-80s

Wichita, KS – A few sprinkles are expected across central Kansas early Sunday morning. The National Weather Service in Wichita says rain is most likely along I-70 and west of I-135.

According to the NWS, skies will clear by Sunday afternoon, leading to temperatures between 79 and 84 degrees. Overnight lows will dip to the low-to-mid 50s across the region. Locations such as Salina, Hutchinson, and Wichita will see a brief period of rain before clearing.

Looking ahead to Monday, temperatures will rise slightly, with highs expected between 84 and 88 degrees. The early week is projected to bring clear skies and near-normal conditions, making for pleasant weather across Kansas.

Drivers are advised to be cautious due to potential wet roads Sunday morning. After that, conditions will improve for outdoor activities as warm and sunny skies return.
