Central Indiana Faces Damaging Winds, Large Hail, and Heavy Rainfall from Tuesday into Wednesday

Indianapolis, IN – The National Weather Service has issued a slight risk warning for severe thunderstorms from late Tuesday night through Wednesday evening, impacting central Indiana.

According to the NWS, the greatest hazards include damaging wind gusts, large hail, and locally heavy rainfall. The unseasonable warmth and moderate humidity levels are expected to persist through Tuesday, with strong thunderstorms likely northwest and north of Indianapolis late today and into the evening. Residents are advised to stay informed and prepare for potentially severe weather conditions through mid-week.
