Central Illinois – Dry conditions are forecasted to prevail across Central Illinois for the next seven days, with a brief chance of isolated showers or storms north of Peoria on Monday night. Most areas will remain dry through Thursday, while temperatures are set to stay warm throughout the weekend and into early next week.
According to the US National Weather Service Central Illinois, the region will experience mostly sunny skies today, with temperatures ranging from 87 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Sunday will see partly cloudy conditions in the morning, clearing up later in the day with highs between 88 and 91 degrees.
Monday night brings a slight chance of isolated storms in areas north of Peoria, with temperatures peaking between 89 and 94 degrees. Tuesday will be partly cloudy, with temperatures cooling slightly to between 82 and 92 degrees.
By mid-week, residents can expect a noticeable drop in temperatures. Wednesday’s forecast predicts partly cloudy skies with highs between 80 and 85 degrees. Thursday will continue this trend, with partly cloudy conditions and temperatures ranging from 77 to 83 degrees.
Champaign will also experience clear and sunny conditions today, with wind gusts up to 13 mph and temperatures reaching 90 degrees. Similar conditions are expected for the rest of the week, with highs peaking at 92 degrees on Monday.
