Paxton, IL – Ford County authorities have charged 18-year-old Veronica L. Matszewski with attempted first-degree murder. Court records allege that Matszewski tried to allegedly kill her uncle by hitting him with her car.

According to reports, Matszewski allegedly struck her uncle twice with the vehicle, leaving him seriously injured. He remains hospitalized as of Tuesday.
