Normal, IL – Police in Normal are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects allegedly involved in damaging a menorah over the weekend.
According to the Normal Police Department, the incident happened on Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, in the 200 block of South Linden Street. Authorities say the suspects filmed themselves while allegedly damaging the menorah before running northbound on Linden Street.
Police released surveillance images showing the suspects and are urging residents to come forward with any information. “Acts of vandalism like this will not be tolerated in our community,” the department stated in a social media release, noting that the case is being actively investigated.
