Melbourne, FL – Central Florida residents can expect warm temperatures reaching the low to mid-80s today, with isolated to scattered showers continuing through the morning along coastal areas, particularly near Port St. Lucie.

According to the National Weather Service Melbourne, rain chances range between 20-30% through the morning hours before conditions dry out in the afternoon. Coastal areas, including Daytona Beach and Melbourne, are under a moderate rip current risk, making beach swimming hazardous without proper precautions.

Boaters are advised of poor conditions across coastal waters, with a small craft advisory in effect. Inland cities like Orlando, Kissimmee, and Sanford will also experience warm temperatures, reaching up to 85°F. Residents are urged to remain cautious when swimming and boating, as conditions are expected to improve only later in the day.
