Wednesday appears to be one of the hottest days of the period, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-90s. Thursday follows a similar pattern with only isolated afternoon thunderstorms. The extended outlook suggests above-normal temperatures could continue into late next week, keeping Central Florida locked into a prolonged stretch of midsummer heat.
