Denver, Colorado – Central Colorado could see brief winter weather signals late next week, but current trends suggest only a limited chance for snow, with no strong indication of a widespread or high-impact event along the Front Range or adjacent plains.

According to the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center, central Colorado sits on the eastern edge of a broader winter pattern from Saturday through the following Friday. While colder air is expected to be present at times, storm systems appear weak or displaced enough to keep snowfall potential limited outside of higher elevations.

Along the Front Range, including Denver and Colorado Springs, overnight or early morning periods could briefly support light snow or flurries if moisture overlaps with colder temperatures. Any accumulation would likely be minimal, though bridges and elevated roadways along Interstates 25 and 70 could turn slick for short periods.

Farther south near Pueblo, conditions favor cold and mostly dry weather, with only a low-end chance for brief snow. In the foothills and Palmer Divide, slightly colder air could allow spotty light accumulation, though impacts currently appear limited.

The Colorado Department of Transportation advises drivers to remain alert during early morning travel, especially near higher terrain and mountain-adjacent roadways. While significant winter weather is not anticipated at this time, updates could follow if colder air or storm tracks shift later next week.
