Carol Stream, Ill. — Carol Stream is hosting live music, fireworks and a parade this Fourth of July. The Carol Stream Summer Concert Series will have a special Independence Day edition featuring the band Shout Out.Â
The Fourth of July celebrations start at 10:00 a.m. with the Independence Day parade hosted by the volunteer Carol Stream Parade committee.
The Independence Day edition of the Carol Stream Summer Concert Series will be at the Ross Ferraro Town Center. Food concessions will be open from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:00 p.m. until; 9:00 p.m. Fireworks will kick off after the show at 9:15. Featured food vendors at the event include Lou Malnati’s, Golden Eagle Hot Dogs and Just a Taste Confections.
The Village of Carol Stream reminded guests that no e-bikes, scooters or smoking will be allowed. Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets to the event. The Village of Carol Stream will update with any weather cancellations on social media and the village website by 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
