Logansport, IN – Authorities are investigating two assaults that occurred at Houston Park along the trail path on Wednesday. Police are seeking public assistance in identifying a person of interest believed to be involved in both incidents.
According to the Logansport Police Department, the first assault took place around 10:00 AM, and the second at approximately 6:00 PM. The victims, both female, were walking alone at the time of the attacks. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’4” to 5’6” tall, with black hair, brown eyes, and medium build. He was last seen wearing tan pants and an orange/black jacket with black shoes.
Police are urging anyone who recognizes the individual in the released photo or has information about the assaults to contact Lt. Brad Miller at 574-753-4101 ext. 223. In their statement, the police emphasized that these incidents appear isolated and assured the public that the trails remain safe.
Cass County Indiana Sheriff’s Office also shared the alert, advising the community to remain vigilant and walk with a friend. They reiterated the importance of reporting any suspicious activity.
