Cassopolis, MI – Deputies from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a single-vehicle crash that left two juveniles injured late Saturday morning in Milton Township.

According to Sheriff Clint Roach, the crash occurred around 11:22 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2026, on Brush Road south of Redfield Street. Deputies determined that the driver, identified as 46-year-old Rochelle Lanae Tennant of Elkhart, Indiana, was heading south when she allegedly lost control of her vehicle on icy pavement, causing it to leave the roadway and land in a ditch.

Authorities said two juvenile passengers were transported by SMCAS Ambulance to Corewell Niles Hospital for evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries. The driver was not reported to be seriously injured.

Responding agencies included SMCAS EMS and the Edwardsburg Fire Department.

Sheriff Roach said the crash remains under investigation and urged drivers to use caution as freezing temperatures continue to make roads slick across Cass County.
