Deputies arrested Brooklyn Sue Collins, 23, of the Siam community, after a grand jury handed down indictments on Nov. 3, 2025, charging her with second-degree murder and the sale of a Schedule II drug (fentanyl). Collins remains held on a $50,000 bond at the Carter County Detention Center.
According to investigators, the case began in November 2023, when a man was found dead from a suspected overdose. Forensic analysis of the victim’s phone linked the drugs that caused his death to Collins, authorities said.
The Sheriff’s Office stated that Collins had previously been arrested in April 2025 during Operation Blue Skies, a multi-agency investigation into fentanyl trafficking across the region.
