Winnipeg, Manitoba – Winnipeg police say they’ve grilled a suspect accused of stealing more than $10,000 worth of meat in a string of retail thefts across the city.
According to the Winnipeg Police Service, officers investigated 11 shoplifting cases between April 19 and June 11, with more than $3,000 in merchandise stolen, mostly meat. The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Joshua Fred Garrioch, was arrested June 21 at a residence in the 300 block of Atlantic Avenue on multiple outstanding warrants.
