Nashville, TN – A Canadian protester was charged with felony aggravated assault after allegedly striking a bartender with a flagpole during a downtown Nashville altercation.
According to Nashville Metro Police, Ryan Scott McCann, 29, of Ontario, Canada, was carrying a Nazi flag when he allegedly struck Deago Buck, 19, in the face and ribs after Buck became involved in a physical altercation with the protestors.
McCann faces charges of aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. McCann is being held on an $81,000 bond, requiring a source hearing before a Davidson County judge, while Buck was also arrested and his bond was set at $2,000.
