San Francisco, CA – Sunny skies and warming temperatures will dominate the Bay Area this weekend, but strong afternoon winds could pose minor hazards in San Francisco and surrounding coastal zones.

According to the National Weather Service, high temperatures will reach 76°F on Friday and remain in the mid-70s through Sunday. West-southwest winds will increase to 15 to 21 mph in the afternoons, with gusts as strong as 25 mph expected both Friday and Saturday.

Residents in the city and along the coast, including Daly City and Pacifica, should secure outdoor items and use caution if traveling on bridges or elevated roadways during peak gust periods. While skies will remain mostly clear through Monday, the dry and breezy pattern raises minor fire weather concerns in the region.

Nighttime lows will hover in the low-to-mid 50s, offering mild conditions for evening events and outdoor dining. This warm, dry spell marks a sharp contrast from last week’s cooler trend and may persist into midweek.

Wind advisories are not currently in effect, but conditions will be monitored for any weekend updates.
