San Diego, CA – Morning sun and mid-70s temps are set to dominate San Diego this weekend, but coastal fog could make a return by Sunday night. If you’re planning a beach day, park picnic, or Halloween prep, Saturday offers the clearest skies and best conditions.

According to the National Weather Service in San Diego, highs will reach 76°F Saturday and Sunday, with light winds and full sun. But by late Sunday, patchy fog could creep back into coastal communities and valleys, especially along I-5, Highway 163, and SR-805—potentially impacting Monday morning commuters.

Humidity remains moderate, and no rain is expected through at least Tuesday. Saturday will feel like a textbook Southern California fall day: clear skies, light breeze, and golden-hour sun that stretches into the evening. Outdoor events, pumpkin patches, and sunset dinners should all be in full swing with ideal weather.

Sunday holds steady with another warm, sunny afternoon, though clouds begin to build closer to sundown. Monday morning could begin with marine-layer fog, especially near Mission Bay, La Jolla, and Chula Vista, before clearing out by late morning.

While no weather hazards are in effect, residents should stay alert for reduced visibility early next week. Fog-prone roads near the coast may require slower speeds during commutes.

Five-Day Weather Outlook for San Diego, CA:

  • Sunday: Mostly sunny, high near 76°F
