SACRAMENTO, CA – A warm and sunny weekend is ahead for Sacramento, bringing spring temperatures near 80°F by early next week. After a cool and cloudy overnight, clear skies will dominate the forecast, making it an ideal weekend for outdoor activities.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday will be partly sunny with a high near 69°F, and winds picking up slightly in the afternoon. Sunday will be even warmer, reaching 75°F with clear skies. Morning fog could develop in some areas but will quickly clear by mid-morning.

Looking ahead to Monday and Tuesday, Sacramento will see even warmer temperatures, with highs climbing to 79°F and 82°F, respectively. Nights will remain cool, with lows in the low-to-mid 50s. By midweek, the weather pattern shifts slightly, with a slight chance of showers beginning Wednesday and lasting into Thursday.

While dry conditions will persist through the weekend, travelers should stay aware of potential morning fog, especially on major roadways such as Interstate 5 and Highway 99. Reduced visibility could impact early morning commutes before clearing by late morning.

Residents should take advantage of the warm weather before potential midweek showers arrive. Outdoor plans will be ideal through at least Tuesday, with light winds and comfortable conditions making for perfect spring days in Sacramento.
