East Los Angeles, Calif. — Drivers across East L.A. may face patchy fog through late morning Wednesday before skies clear and temperatures rise near 78°F. Light winds from the southwest will keep conditions mild through the afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service Los Angeles/Oxnard office, low clouds and fog could reduce visibility before 11 a.m., especially along I-5 and surface streets near Montebello and Boyle Heights. By midday, skies will turn mostly sunny with calm winds shifting south around 5 mph.
Thursday night brings a slight chance of thunderstorms after 11 p.m., though most of the area is expected to stay dry. Daytime highs will climb into the low 80s Friday before cooling slightly over the weekend.
Motorists should use headlights in fog-prone areas and allow extra braking distance during the morning commute. The mild pattern continues through early next week, with highs staying in the upper 70s and lows in the upper 50s.
Sunny conditions are expected to persist through Sunday, with the next slight rain chance arriving late Monday night.
