East Los Angeles, CA – Drivers across East L.A. should be alert for patchy fog and possible drizzle through Saturday morning, with visibility dipping during early commute hours.

According to the National Weather Service in Oxnard, fog will form nightly after 11 p.m., lingering through mid-morning each day before giving way to partial clearing. Light southwest winds between 5 to 10 mph will accompany the gray skies. A slight chance of rain may develop late Saturday night, with a 20% chance of precipitation after 11 p.m.

Patchy fog is expected to impact key roadways including I-10 and I-710, especially between downtown L.A. and Montebello. Saturday’s high will reach 66°F, with lows dipping to the mid-50s overnight. Visibility could be reduced to under a quarter mile in some areas, prompting caution for early travelers.

Residents are urged to use low-beam headlights in fog, allow extra travel time, and avoid unnecessary driving during low visibility. While conditions will improve Sunday, mornings may still start gray.

Skies begin clearing late Sunday into Monday, with highs warming back into the mid-70s and full sunshine expected by Tuesday.
