San Francisco, California – Minor flooding could disrupt parts of San Francisco and the Bay shoreline late Thursday night as high tides push water inland.

According to the National Weather Service, a Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect from 11 p.m. Thursday, June 26, through 2 a.m. Friday, June 27, with peak tide hitting 6.66 feet at 12:38 a.m. Friday. Bayside locations around San Francisco Bay and San Pablo Bay, including areas near U.S. Route 101, could see standing water on roads, parks, and parking lots.

While only isolated road closures are expected, drivers should avoid flooded routes and not cross barricades or unknown water depths. Travelers commuting early Friday should allow extra time and use alternate routes if necessary. Local agencies may issue additional closures depending on how far water intrudes inland.

No rain or severe wind is in the forecast through Friday, and most of the Bay Area will remain clear and dry. Daytime highs will reach 72°F Friday in San Francisco with light southwest winds.
