Los Angeles, California – Easter Sunday across Southern California will feel warm but manageable, with temperatures in the mid-80s before a steady warm-up pushes readings closer to 90°F in the days that follow.
According to the National Weather Service, this 6-to-10 day outlook highlights a building ridge of high pressure across the West, allowing temperatures to trend above normal and climb several degrees each day through midweek.
In Los Angeles, highs on Easter Sunday will reach the mid-80s during the afternoon, especially between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., creating warm but generally favorable conditions for travel and outdoor plans. Major routes including I-5, I-10, and U.S. 101 should remain clear under dry skies.
Inland areas such as Riverside, San Bernardino, and the San Fernando Valley will start in the mid to upper 80s Sunday, then warm into the upper 80s and low 90s by Monday through Wednesday.
Coastal communities like Santa Monica and San Diego will stay slightly cooler, with highs in the 70s to low 80s, but still above seasonal averages.
While Easter conditions support outdoor activities, the warming trend into the week could increase heat-related concerns, especially during afternoon hours. Hydration and sun protection will become more important with each passing day.
Above-normal temperatures continue through April 9, with additional heat advisories possible if the warming trend intensifies.
