California Weather Alert: 80°F Temperatures Expected in Sacramento by Thursday

Sacramento, CA – California’s weather will shift to warmer conditions this week, with several cities in the Central Valley forecasted to see temperatures reaching 80°F or higher. The chances of these above-normal temperatures increase significantly starting Wednesday, April 9, and continue through the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, cities like Modesto and Chico will experience their highest chances of reaching 80°F on Thursday, April 11, with probabilities at 95% and 85%, respectively. Cities such as Sacramento and Marysville are also expected to experience warmer conditions with a 55% to 75% chance of exceeding 80°F from Wednesday to Friday.

The National Weather Service is also forecasting a minor heat risk for the Central Valley from Wednesday through Friday, urging residents to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged outdoor exposure. Areas like Stockton, Red Bluff, and Redding are expected to experience highs in the upper 70s to low 80s throughout the week.
