Quincy, CA – A routine traffic stop on October 20 led Plumas County deputies to a major drug arrest on Pioneer Road. Officers pulled over a vehicle in Quincy and discovered an illegal expandable baton in the driver’s possession, prompting an expanded search that uncovered a significant stash of narcotics.

Deputies found 94.24 grams of methamphetamine, 0.39 grams of fentanyl, 14 meth pipes, and seven foil balls, some containing fentanyl. The search also yielded a container of liquid methadone, $605 in cash, and packaging materials.

Authorities arrested Randall Dean Warren, 67, of Rolinda, and Rachel M. Santos, 37, of Sacramento. Warren faces charges, including drug possession, transportation of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Santos faces similar charges related to drug possession and sales.

Both individuals were taken into custody without incident. The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office emphasized its commitment to community safety and intends to continue targeting drug-related offenses in the area.
