East Los Angeles, CA – Sunny skies have returned to East L.A. as patchy morning fog cleared just before noon Monday, offering residents a warm and calm afternoon. But this brief break in visibility concerns is temporary — patchy fog is set to return each morning through Friday, with temperatures steadily climbing into the low 80s.

According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday morning will again begin with low visibility before skies clear by midday. Highs will top out near 73°F Tuesday, then rise daily, hitting 83°F by Friday. Light winds from the south and southwest will accompany the warming trend, keeping air quality moderate and conditions dry.

Morning fog is expected to persist along major arteries such as I-710, I-5, and East Olympic Boulevard. Commuters should plan ahead for reduced visibility before 11 a.m. each day this week. Drivers are encouraged to use low-beam headlights and allow extra time during foggy periods.

Afternoons, however, will bring mostly sunny skies and mild summer conditions. Outdoor plans, especially after 1 p.m., should see little weather disruption. This pattern mirrors typical late June trends in East L.A., though the extended stretch of fog may impact morning air travel and school operations.

Expect updated advisories if fog thickens or visibility worsens later in the week.
