San Diego, California – A stretch of seasonably warm, clear days begins Sunday in San Diego as coastal clouds give way to sunshine across the metro. Temperatures will top out near 74°F with light westerly winds, making it an ideal day for outdoor plans or a trip to the beach.

According to the National Weather Service, skies will gradually clear by late morning Sunday, with west winds between 5 to 10 mph. Overnight lows will remain mild, hovering around 64°F, with no major weather hazards expected. This dry pattern continues into the workweek, with daytime highs staying in the low- to mid-70s through Thursday.

On Monday, San Diego will see a high near 73°F under partly cloudy skies, followed by slightly cooler nighttime temps near 63°F. Tuesday and Wednesday continue the trend with mostly clear days and cloudier nights, creating comfortable sleeping conditions without a strong marine layer push inland.

Residents should note that no rain is expected through at least Thursday, and no weather alerts are currently in place. Still, coastal drivers on Interstate 5 and Highway 163 should stay alert for dense morning clouds, which may limit early visibility.

⚠️ Reminder: Use sunscreen and stay hydrated during extended sun exposure. More detailed updates will be issued if conditions change. For now, enjoy a welcome stretch of summer sunshine as San Diego heads into mid-July with calm, pleasant weather.
