East Los Angeles, CA – Drivers across East L.A. should expect reduced visibility Thursday morning, July 24th, as patchy fog rolls in before 11 a.m.

According to the National Weather Service, skies will gradually clear by midday, leading to a high near 79°F with light winds turning southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Commuters on I-710 and I-5 should use extra caution during early hours and avoid speeding through low-visibility zones.

Fog will return Thursday night, keeping skies mostly cloudy with lows around 60°F. Winds will shift slightly, moving south-southeast after midnight with gusts up to 15 mph. The warming pattern holds into Friday, where skies turn sunny by afternoon and temperatures climb to a pleasant 77°F.

Saturday and Sunday mirror this mild trend with highs in the mid-to-upper 70s and fog expected both nights. Weekend activities like beach trips or outdoor gatherings should plan around foggy mornings and clearer, comfortable afternoons.

By Monday and Tuesday, East L.A. could see a small heat uptick with sunny skies and highs nearing 83°F to 85°F — the warmest stretch of the week. Residents should stay hydrated and limit midday exposure if spending extended time outdoors.

Warnings remain in effect for patchy morning fog through Sunday, especially for early drivers. Another advisory could be issued if marine layer thickens or visibility worsens.
