San Diego, CA — Foggy Morning to Slow San Diego Drivers as Spring Weather Continues Through Midweek

Patchy fog is expected to reduce visibility across San Diego Monday morning, creating potential travel delays along key highways including I-5 and I-805. Commuters are urged to allow extra time and drive cautiously between midnight and 11 a.m.

According to the National Weather Service, fog will form after 11 p.m. Sunday and persist into late Monday morning. Visibility may drop significantly during the early commute. The fog will clear gradually, giving way to mostly sunny skies and a high near 69°F. Light winds will become west at 5 to 10 mph during the day.

Monday night will bring more fog after 11 p.m., with low clouds and temperatures dipping to 52°F. Winds will calm after midnight. On Tuesday, morning fog will again dominate before sunshine returns by midday, with a high near 69°F.
