San Diego, CA – Spring warmth is making a welcome return to Southern California, with temperatures in San Diego expected to climb to 74°F by Monday afternoon. Following a cool, cloudy weekend, the city is heading into a week of mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures—perfect for outdoor plans, commuters, and spring break travelers.

According to the National Weather Service, patchy fog will develop early Monday before clearing out by mid-morning. Temperatures will steadily rise into the low to mid-70s through midweek, with no rain in sight. Winds will remain light, mostly under 10 mph, and visibility along major routes like I-5 and I-805 will be optimal after 10 a.m.

Drivers should be cautious during Monday’s morning commute, especially between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m., as fog may reduce visibility in coastal areas. Caltrans advises giving extra space and using headlights during foggy periods.

Tuesday and Wednesday bring more spring-like conditions with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s and partly sunny skies. Nights remain mild, with lows in the low- to mid-50s. By Thursday and Friday, expect similar weather, with highs hovering near 67°F and continued dry conditions.

This stretch of fair weather offers ideal conditions for hiking, coastal drives, and spring travel across San Diego County. No major storm systems are expected for at least the next five days, giving residents a reliable window for outdoor activities.
