Martinez, CA – A Vallejo man faces multiple felony charges after allegedly stealing nearly $25,000 in LEGO sets from Target stores.

Authorities say 32-year-old Michael Ivory Fletcher stole merchandise from locations in San Ramon and Walnut Creek between August 2024 and February 2025. He allegedly followed a pattern—loading carts with LEGO products, exiting within minutes, and stashing items in a parked vehicle.

According to the Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office, Fletcher is linked to thefts in Solano, Alameda, San Joaquin, Sonoma, and Santa Clara counties. Police arrested him, and he remains in custody at the Martinez Detention Facility on a $467,500 bail.

District Attorney Diana Becton credited the Walnut Creek and San Ramon police departments for their investigative work. She urged businesses to report retail crimes.

Authorities continue investigating Fletcher’s alleged multi-county thefts. He faces a 12-count felony complaint, with a preliminary hearing set for February 20.
