Hanford, CA – A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect for the San Joaquin Valley until 11 a.m. Sunday, creating potentially dangerous driving conditions. Visibility has dropped to as low as a quarter mile or less in some areas, making travel along key routes like Highway 99 hazardous.

According to the National Weather Service, drivers should exercise caution and use low-beam headlights to navigate through the fog. Maintaining extra space between vehicles is also critical to avoid sudden accidents caused by limited visibility.

As the fog lifts later today, the region will see a shift to mostly sunny skies by the afternoon, with temperatures reaching a high of 62 degrees. Overnight, temperatures will drop to 45 degrees, with areas of fog likely to return Monday morning before clearing by 10 a.m.

Looking ahead to the workweek, Monday and Tuesday are expected to remain sunny with highs around 63 degrees and calm winds. Overnight lows will stay near 42 degrees. By Wednesday, the valley will see more sunshine and consistent highs in the low 60s, continuing through the weekend.

Residents are advised to plan morning commutes carefully, especially if traveling during fog-prone hours. Keep tuned to local weather updates for real-time conditions and advisories.
