Hanover Township, OH – A man was found dead early Saturday morning after an apparent hit-and-run on Reily Millville Road, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Richard K. Jones said deputies were dispatched around 5:44 a.m. to the area near Woodbine Road in Hanover Township after a report of a man struck by a vehicle. A 911 caller traveling eastbound on Reily Millville Road in a white van reported seeing a male lying in the roadway and stated their vehicle ran over him.
According to investigators, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team (START) responded to collect evidence and witness statements. Authorities believe the victim was initially struck by another eastbound vehicle that fled the scene.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released pending notification of family. The investigation remains ongoing.
