Burlington, VT – A stretch of cool and unsettled weather will continue across northern New York and Vermont as an area of low pressure lingers through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service in Burlington.
Showers will be most widespread today, gradually becoming more scattered on Friday and isolated by Saturday and Sunday. Daytime highs will range from the mid-40s to low 50s, while overnight lows dip into the upper 20s and 30s, bringing a chillier feel across the region.
By late weekend, the cooling trend will deepen enough for a few high-elevation snow showers, especially during the overnight hours in the Adirondacks and Green Mountains.
Conditions should begin to dry out early next week as high pressure builds in.
