Buffalo, New York – Western New York is heading into one of the most comfortable weekends of the summer, with sunny skies, warm afternoons, and refreshingly cool nights.
According to the National Weather Service in Buffalo, daytime highs will slowly climb from the mid-70s today to the low 80s by Sunday, while nighttime lows dip into the 50s. Humidity remains low, and no rain is expected through at least Monday.
The calm weather will benefit weekend travelers across Buffalo, Rochester, and Niagara Falls. Evenings will be cool enough for open windows, and early risers can expect crisp, clear mornings.
Note: Temperatures are based on lower elevations and may be a few degrees cooler in higher terrain such as the Southern Tier and Allegheny Plateau.
Warmer, more humid conditions return next week, but the dry streak holds for now.
