According to the National Weather Service Buffalo, morning showers will gradually diminish, though scattered showers and a thunderstorm remain possible by midday and into the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to rise into the low- to mid-70s before cooling off into the 60s this evening.
By late afternoon and evening, additional showers may redevelop, with conditions slowly drying overnight. Fog is also possible in some areas, particularly after midnight, as overnight lows dip into the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Forecasters note that while the storms are not expected to be widespread, isolated downpours or a rumble of thunder could disrupt outdoor plans and commutes. Drivers are urged to use caution on wet roads, particularly in areas where visibility may be reduced by rain or fog.
