Manchester, NH – Three people, including former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, were injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday night on Interstate 93 in Manchester.
According to the New Hampshire State Police, troopers were investigating a separate domestic violence incident just before 10 p.m. Saturday when they witnessed the collision on the northbound side of the interstate. Officials said a Honda HR-V, driven by Lauren Kemp, 19, of Concord, struck the rear of a Ford Bronco driven by Theodore Goodman of Michigan.
Authorities reported that Giuliani was a passenger in Goodman’s vehicle. Kemp, Goodman, and Giuliani all suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening and were taken by ambulance to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Troopers and fire crews who were already at the scene of the earlier incident crossed the highway immediately to provide aid. Both vehicles were heavily damaged and came to rest in the median.
Police said both sides of I-93 were closed for about an hour while investigators documented the scene and cleared debris.
As of Sunday, no charges had been filed, though state police confirmed the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact Sgt. Mark Dore at (603) 223-4381.
