Bradley, IL – The Bradley Public Library is inviting families and science fans to travel back in time this month with its free “DINO-vember” demonstration series, beginning Monday, November 3, from 6–7 p.m.
The first session, titled “Dinosaurs and Their Mesozoic Era Neighbours: Demo Part 1,” will explore how dinosaurs evolved, adapted, and eventually went extinct. Attendees will learn about major discoveries made by scientists worldwide, including what animals lived alongside dinosaurs and how these species survived dramatic environmental changes.
The presentation will be led by Mitchell Goodknecht, founder of Animal-Care-Conservation-Outreach and volunteer educator at Chicago’s Field Museum of Natural History. Library officials note that while the event is open to all ages, viewer discretion is advised due to sensitive topics involving extinctions and carnivorous diets.
A follow-up event, “The Dinosaur Extinction and the Survivors of Today,” will take place Monday, November 17, also from 6–7 p.m.
Both programs are free to attend, but registration is encouraged at bradleylibrary.org.
